Illustrative report. Bands only — no figure traceable to one business.

Every business owner is making decisions with no reference point.

You know your numbers. You have no idea whether they're good.

Should your margin be higher? Is your revenue per employee where it should be for your sector in 2026? Are your rates below market? Is your client concentration dangerous or normal?

Public companies answer these questions every quarter with armies of analysts. You answer them with a feeling.

The largest free dataset on earth, finally pointed at small businesses.

Every listed company publishes audited financials. Decades of them. Including the years when those companies were small.

Hy maps your business to its listed counterparts, converts everything to scale-invariant ratios, and shows you the gap — plus what closing it is worth.

Then it adds the layer nobody else has: verified businesses your own size, contributing anonymously, in your sector, in your market.

BENCHMARKS

Every ratio that matters, against every leader that counts.

What we measure

We only use scale-invariant metrics — the ones where comparing a 12-person firm to a listed giant is meaningful rather than absurd.

Absolute revenue is deliberately excluded. It tells you nothing useful and exposes you to everything.

THE STAGE-MATCHED COMPARISON

Comparing yourself to a $2B company is discouraging. Comparing yourself to what it was at $2M is instructive.

Every listed company filed reports when it was small. Its S-1 describes it at a stage you might recognise. Hy surfaces that: the margins, the headcount economics, the growth rate, the reinvestment choices — at the point where the leaders were where you are now.

That's not a benchmark. That's a map.

The Leverage Index

One number: are you getting more output per person, or is your sector leaving you behind?

The listed leaders in your domain now report AI-driven efficiency openly. Hy indexes your revenue per employee against theirs and tracks the trend.

Rising means you're capturing leverage. Flat while the sector rises means someone is out-competing you on cost per unit of work — and you'd otherwise find out through lost bids, two years late.

Sector early warning

Your pipeline follows the listed leaders by two to three quarters.

When the public companies in your domain guide spend down on an earnings call, that signal reaches businesses your size much later — usually as an unexplained slow month.

Hy reads those signals and tells you what's coming while you still have time to change your pipeline.

The peer layer

The comparison that actually applies to you.

Public companies are the ceiling. Your peer cohort is the reality: verified businesses your size, in your sector and market, contributing anonymously.

Contribute your own metrics and you unlock the depth of the peer layer. Contribute more, see more. It's a mutual system, and it only works because everyone's data is protected the same way.

TRUST & SECURITY

We designed Hy so that betraying you isn't possible.

A privacy policy tells you what a company promises. Architecture tells you what it's capable of. We'd rather show you the second.

What we never store

We compute, then delete.

Your financial connection is read-only. We derive ratios, store the ratios, and discard the source. We do not hold your revenue, your client names, your payroll, or your bank balance.

We can't leak, sell, or be compelled to hand over data we never kept.

On authorities and legal requests

We disclose nothing without a valid legal order, and we publish a transparency report twice a year covering every request we receive. Because we don't retain raw financial records, there is very little to disclose even under compulsion. That's deliberate.

The comparison worth making

You already share your financials — with your accountant, your bank, your auditor, your insurer. Hy holds itself to that standard, not to social media's.

The alternative isn't safety. It's pricing your services, setting your margins and planning your hiring on instinct, while the businesses you compete with do it on evidence.

DESIGN CONSTRAINT

Individuals see sector and cohort aggregates only — never their own employer's figures. The Personal Leverage Index compares a person to their sector, never to their employer's P&L. If businesses believe Hy exposes their margins to their staff, they stop verifying, and verification is the whole company.

ROADMAP · WAITLIST

The best people aren't applying. To anyone.

The problem with public hiring

Posting a role publicly costs you twice.

It tells your competitors what you're building — "hiring three ML engineers for logistics" is a strategy leak with a job title on it. And it only reaches people actively looking, which excludes almost everyone you'd actually want.

Double-blind matching

Neither side is exposed until both agree.

Your role stays invisible.
No public posting. No competitor intelligence. No flood of unqualified applications.
Their availability stays private.
The senior professional who'd move for the right project — but would never be seen browsing jobs — sets a private signal no one can see. Our AI matches. Both sides opt in before either is revealed.

Evidence, not claims

Endorsements are worthless and everyone knows it. On Hy, when a business confirms a project was delivered, the people who delivered it inherit verified credit for it.

We match on demonstrated outcomes in comparable situations — someone who took a team from 5 to 30 at a services firm — not on a CV that lists "leadership."

Gap diagnosis

Because Hy already knows your team economics against sector leaders, it doesn't wait for you to write a job description. It tells you where the gap is: businesses at your revenue in your sector had dedicated operations by now, and their margin shows it.

FOR INVESTORS

Deal flow that arrives pre-verified, screened on real numbers rather than narrative, plus ongoing portfolio monitoring against live sector benchmarks.

Internal note — do not publish this page without securities counsel review in every market you operate in.

Investment matching is regulated activity. Wording like "invest in," "returns," or "opportunity" is exactly where platforms attract enforcement. Position Hy as an introduction and verification layer, never as a broker or offering platform, and have the copy reviewed line by line. This note is not legal advice.

ABOUT · WHY NOW

The rules of running a business are being rewritten faster than the advice can keep up.

Revenue per employee is being reset across entire sectors. Pricing models that worked for a decade are collapsing in a quarter. The gap between businesses capturing AI leverage and businesses being outrun by it is widening every month — and most owners can't see which side they're on.

The information to answer this exists. It's in the quarterly filings of every listed company in your domain, published freely, read by almost nobody who isn't paid to.

Hy exists to point that information at the businesses that need it most and can afford it least.
